Dorval offers new hiking trail, solo hockey during COVID-19 lockdown

Dorval Mayor Edgar Rouleau skates at the outdoor rink in St. Charles Park on Saturday with his hockey stick and puck. The city is not allowing hockey to be played due to COVID-19 safety measures, but residents can still bring a stick and puck on the ice.

The city of Dorval is trying to find some new ways for residents to enjoy the outdoors while adhering to latest COVID-19 measures , including a new 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. province-wide curfew that went into effect Saturday.

Dorval’s outdoor rinks will close at 7 p.m. in order to respect the 8 p.m. curfew imposed by the provincial government.
