One way or another, Christian Wolanin will get his chance to return the Ottawa Senators’ lineup.
If it didn’t happen Sunday against the Calgary Flames at the Saddledome then he’ll almost certainly be back from being a healthy scratch for eight straight games Monday night against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place Arena.
With defenceman Mike Reilly a game-time decision after missing Thursday’s 7-3 loss to the Calgary Flames with an undisclosed minor injury after hitting the boards hard Tuesday in Montreal, Wolanin was scheduled to take the warmup and then a decision would be made on which blueliner would suit up.
