WHL keeping schedules regional means North Van phenom Bedard won’t visit B.C.

Vancouver Giants fans won’t get a firsthand look at ballyhooed prospect Connor Bedard at the Langley Events Centre this coming regular season.

The WHL has announced plans for an Oct. 1 opening night for 2021-22, a 68-game schedule for all of its teams and full-capacity in all of its rinks due to the anticipated lifting of COVID-19 health restrictions.
